Read the article "Age-related humor as an indicator of attitudes and perceptions" Kelly et al. (1987) Journal of social psychology vol.127 no.3 pp.245-250

I. Summarise the paper in outline form.

For example:

Introduction-
- content analysis of jokes, cartoons and birthday cards indicated humour about ageing has a negative tone; thought to indicate negative attitudes in Western society to ageing.
- Shepard (1981) found appreciation of humour not related to attitudes in sample of college students

II. Critique the paper. Indicate strengths and weaknesses. Make clear which weaknesses you consider major and which minor.
