Effective LifeLong Inventory
By
Steve Draper,
Department of Psychology,
University of Glasgow.
This comes from Bristol; aimed at school teaching.

It is, firstly, an inventory of 7 attributes that favour lifelong learning;
that is, 7 dimensions of "learning power".
But the idea has always been, to consider each of them as something an
individual should cultivate i.e. they are also principles about what the
learner should be or become, and hence by implication, things that teachers /
learning designers should bring about somehow.
- changing and learning (believing you can develop)
- meaning making
- critical curiosity
- creativity
- learning relationships (partly includes what I would call the
solo:group relationship)
- resilience
- strategic awareness
Related are 7 techniques:
- creating healthy learning relationships
- holding dialogues about learning
- being a learning role model
- reflecting on the learning process
- assessing for learning
- providing challenge and choice
- creating a stimulating learning environment.
